RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting with personal care, handle “ADLs,” tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
Providing companionship, Comfort Keepers engage in conversation and try to find joy in everyday activities
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes and linen changing
Laying out clothes and assisting with hygiene
Planning and preparing meals
Providing medication reminders
Providing transportation to and from dr. appointments or pharmacy
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
Ability to interpret, complete the client's plan of care, and take notes
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Smart phone
Flexible and adaptable to new situations
Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Prior experience with dementia patients, complex medical cases and/or in-home senior care REQUIRED
