Comfort Keepers has a need for experienced caregivers/Home Health Aides

Standard shift: Caregivers needed for the following day/times.

• Client 1: Saturdays 7a-7p / Sundays 7a-7p, Male, Huntington Beach, Bed Level Care, Dementia
• Client 2: Saturdays 8a-8p & 8p-8a / Sundays 8a-8p & 8p-8a, Female, Huntington Beach, Bed Level Care
• Client 3: Saturdays 6p-11p/ Sundays 6p-11p,Male, Huntington Beach, Bed Level Care, Hoyer Lift
• Client 4: Saturdays 12p-4p Female, Huntington Beach, Bed Level Care
• Client 5: Saturdays 3p-9p Female, Light Cleaning, Transfers, Personal Care, Toileting

Caregiver/Home Health Aide Job Benefits:

Desired Caregiver applicants will meet the following requirements:

• Caregiving experience
• Available Saturdays and/or Sundays
• HCA eligible
• Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
• Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening
• Negative TB test or CXR

Caregiver Job Responsibilities:

• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
• Help seniors with daily tasks such as preparing meals, light housekeeping, organization, drive and accompany to appointments.
• Assist with showers, bathing, dressing, and toileting, peri-care.
• Assist with transfers
• Encourage activity and movement
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies
• Ability to document using cell phone technology
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home
