Comfort Keepers is looking for part-time and full-time Caregivers/Companions to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the essential in-home care services to help our clients stay safe, healthy, and active so they are able to remain in their own home.

The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.

Responsibilities: 

• Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, provide transportation or  accompany clients to appointments. Prepare meals, grocery shopping and provide personal assistance with general living needs.  Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. 
• Companionship/Respite Care – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.  

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at a time
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for period of time
• Current Drivers license and Insured dependable transportation
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
