Comfort Keepers, a leading provider of home care services, is looking for a passionate, driven and motivated individual to join our team! As the Care Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator, you are responsible for accurately planning and coordinating the schedule for our professional caregivers based on all current and new client service needs.
- Ability to facilitate continuity of care for clients by accurately scheduling qualified caregivers
- Works well under pressure
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Home Care Scheduling software
- Attention to detail, data entry, scheduling and proper filing
- Flexible and willing to work in a busy environment
- Ensures entire care team is up to date on any changes in your client's care plan, tasks, etc.
- Monitors clients for changes in condition
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client needs
- Communicate new assignments and/or the schedule change to caregivers and clients
- Conduct client assessments as needed
- Identify and address scheduling issues, e.r. call outs, no shows, etc.
- Must be able to manage multiple demands simultaneously
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills are necessary
- Participates in on-call rotation
- Maintain Office Records as assigned
Qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 2 years customer service related experience required
- Detailed oriented and proficient in managing multiple tasks
- Must be pro-active with the ability for flexibility and creativity in finding and solving problems
- Healthcare experience is not required but preferred
