Our caring staff provides daily assistance to seniors and others with disabilities. The work environment is fast-paced, challenging, and very rewarding. Our offices are located in Shrewsbury, and Edison, New Jersey. You need to have the flexibility to work at both locations. Under the general supervision of the General Manager and Human Resource Manager, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout our service area. This will be achieved through the development of local recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Onboarding Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent
Essential Functions:
- Initiates hiring process for Comfort Keepers including prescreening interviews. Makes hiring recommendations to Manager for hires.
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Experience in recruitment, and hiring, and administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Needs to be able to go to travel to job fairs in various locations in Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex Counties
- Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues.
- Utilize the Internet for recruitment. This includes posting positions to appropriate Internet sources, researching new ways of using the Internet for recruitment, use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
- Communicate with employees and field staff regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
- Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings. Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
- Coordinate recruiting initiatives. Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Conduct interviews in person and via Ring Central
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in Clear Care
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18 per hour
Experience: Recruiting 1 year (Preferred)
Education: Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Required Travel: Between Shrewsbury and Edison office
