Caregiver Job Duties / Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors in their own homes
• Personal care: handle ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing briefs/pads/linens
• Companionship: engage, establish open communication and trust, develop friendly relationships with seniors' families
• Help seniors with daily household tasks such as light housekeeping and organization
• Drive & accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
• Assist with transfers if using a walker or wheelchair
• Encourage activity and movement
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, hobbies, and interests
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home

Desired Caregiver applicants will meet the following requirements:

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience. Strong preference for >3yrs. 
• Hands-on experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
• Valid driver's license, automobile insurance in your name, and safe/reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Need Sat. and Sun. availability
• Submit to criminal background check, employee misconduct search, motor vehicle driving record
• Reference calls are made
