RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assisting with personal care, handle “ADLs,” tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance 
• Providing companionship, Comfort Keepers engage in conversation and try to find joy in everyday activities 
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes and linen changing 
• Laying out clothes and assisting with hygiene  
• Planning and preparing meals 
• Providing medication reminders 
• Providing transportation to and from dr. appointments or pharmacy  

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect 
• Ability to interpret, complete the client's plan of care, and take notes 
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle  
• Smart phone 
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations 
• Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats) 
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs 
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care
