Desired Caregiver applicants will meet the following requirements:
- HCA Eligible, or have PCA, HHA, CNA license or at least one year of professional caregiving experience
- Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
- Submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record
- Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening
- Negative TB test or CXR
- Ability to use phone technology for client note taking and scheduling phone app
Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
- Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
- Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping, organization, and cooking of meals
- Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments, and other outings
- Organize transportation, assisting getting in/out of your care, safe ambulation
- Transfers, Bed Level Care, wheelchair mobility
- Personal Care/Assist with Bathing, Toileting, peri-care, and dressing
- Be willing to be trained if needed for personal care services.
- Ability to use phone technology for scheduling and client care notes
- Encourage activity and movement
- Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies
