  • Professional Development Opportunities
  • The most incredible time to begin working in home health care is now.
  • One of the most significant components of the job is providing medical care and educational instruction.

Great Place to Work Institute has honored Comfort Keepers with a Great Place to Work certification! The certification process involved surveying 100% of employees from across Comfort Keepers locations and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members' experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization's community impact, the belief that their work makes a difference, and the feeling their work has special meaning.

The Purpose

What distinguishes Comfort Keepers' home health aides from those employed by other senior home care firms? By providing protection, comfort, and safety to the elderly and their families and encouraging involvement in daily activities, we help to boost the human spirit. We also offer our caregivers the option of working in various settings, including patient care or a home caregiver job.

As an experienced Comfort Keeper caregiver, you can build meaningful relationships with your clients and improve their quality of life by performing tasks "with" rather than "for" seniors living at home. By generating moments of joy, connection, and purpose for seniors, we help them thrive and achieve better well-being as a group.

Senior Care Assistance

For more than 20 years, Comfort Keeper's home care team has provided excellent outstanding in-home care to those who need help with daily chores. Following care training (including infection control training), our caregivers visit clients' homes to provide home care, companionship, and small moments of delight to help elders achieve a higher quality of life. A committed caregiver job description might look something like this:

  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Conversation and companionship are two things that come to mind when thinking of companionship.
  • Family caregivers can benefit from respite care.
  • Assisting in the care of people who have Alzheimer's disease or dementia
  • They assist with personal hygiene, such as washing, dressing, and grooming, as wedding clients take their medications on time.
  • Assisting with feeding and other recurring chores
  • Keeping track of your client's health and reporting any changes to your boss
