Requirements

Individuals enthusiastic about serving others, committed, and trustworthy are what we look for in senior care providers. We have specific basic requirements for all qualified candidates, which include the following:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma, or GED.
  • Senior Care experience is a plus.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and obtain a clean motor vehicle driving record.
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test. 
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

As a Comfort Keepers provider, you will help your senior client with light housekeeping, companion care, personal care, and more specialized care, such as dementia or Alzheimer's care, among other things.

  • Care plans should be established and implemented for older clients to suit their changing requirements.
  • Communicate honestly and professionally with elderly clients and their family members, regardless of their age.
  • Make use of their understanding of South Carolina's local neighborhoods to keep senior customers engaged and interested.
  • Provide specialized care to seniors who have chronic ailments, illnesses, or diseases.
