If you have a caring spirit and like to take an active role in helping others, you possess two characteristics that are essential to being a Comfort Keeper home health nurse. View open home health nurse and personal care assistant positions below, and do not hesitate to call us with any questions!
Working as a home health aide offers a number of advantages, one of which is that no two days are the same. You may help one client with personal care tasks such as bathing and grooming one day and take another client to a doctor's appointment or grocery store the next. Because each client requires a distinct set of services, your workdays will be varied.
At Comfort Keepers, our home care community is always growing with skilled caregivers and great people. We're always on the hunt for qualified candidates and care workers that can assist you in becoming a more seasoned caregiver. Our experienced caregivers offer compassionate care, respite care, and hospice care to people in need of help across Fredericksburg and its surrounding cities.
While the majority of Comfort Keepers' Fredericksburg home health aides are employed as part of our caregiving team, we do have a few more opportunities. As a receptionist, you will answer phones and do administrative duties; as a client care coordinator, you will provide in-home care consultations; and as a marketing coordinator, you will be responsible for our marketing efforts. Whatever role you occupy, you will have a fulfilling career while positively impacting the lives of many Fredericksburg seniors.

We have something for you, whether you're looking for a part-time caregiver job or the start of a long-term career. We're looking for caring men and women who want to help others by working as health aides. Learn why so many people want to be a part of the Comfort Keepers team:
Great Place to Work Institute has honored Comfort Keepers with a Great Place to Work certification! The certification process involved surveying 100% of employees from across Comfort Keepers locations and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members' experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization's community impact, the belief that their work makes a difference, and the feeling their work has special meaning.
What distinguishes Comfort Keepers' home health aides from those employed by other senior home care agencies? We boost the human spirit by providing protection, comfort, and safety to the elderly and their families and encouraging participation in daily activities. We also allow our caregivers to work in a flexible and lucrative environment as patient care or home caregiver.
As an experienced Comfort Keeper caregiver, you can form meaningful relationships with your clients and improve their quality of life by performing tasks "with" rather than "for" seniors living at home. By providing moments of joy, connection, and purpose, we help seniors thrive and achieve higher levels of well-being as a group.
Comfort Keeper's home care team has provided exceptional quality in-home care to those requiring assistance with daily chores for over 20 years. After receiving care training (including infection control training), our caregivers visit clients' homes to help elders achieve a higher quality of life through home care, companionship, and small moments of delight.
